My walnut Tele style build - with Gibson P94s

Hey all,

I want to share with all of you my latest Telecaster style build project. This is really my second full project. I have done a lot of mods, but other than a PJ bass build this is my first guitar. I have to say, this guitar has exceeded my expectations in every way! looks, feel, and most notable sound/tone. This was built for a jazz player friend, I want it now! lol.

my Reason for sharing this is that if there’s anyone out there thinking of doing a project like this it’s really not that hard. You have to take your time and you watch a lot of YouTube videos lol

Walnut Stained Gloss Nitro Body: Warmoth Slimline - Walnut top, Mahogany, cream binding
Stained Satin Nitro Neck: Warmoth Mahogany, , Cream binding
Fingerboard: Ziricote Fingerboard, Nightswan inlays
Pickups: Gibson P94's
Bridge: Babicz Full Contact Strat Tremolo
Tuners: Gotoh Locking
Custom Neckplate
Electronics: Tele Solderless Wiring Harness Bill Lawrence 5/w Blackbeauty .047 Alpha Solid
1 Neck
2 Neck & Bridge
3 Bridge
4 Bridge & Neck half out of phase
5 Neck with bass cut capacitor

Almost forgot - I did the Staining/filling/ nitro myself

thanks, the hardest part is staining with the binding & shooting the nitro when its hot and humid. Then level sanding without sanding through. so much can go wrong if you never did before.

I’d love to build another one but my cost on that thing is super high because it’s warmoth! I’d have to charge custom shop prices if I made these for folks. I built this for a really good friend at cost just for the experience
