Hi all,

I just found out about this exciting Jump Blues tune while looking for Swing / Boogie backing tracks.

I hope you will like it.

It's the 1999 version of Lisa Stansfield. The original version was in 1946 by Louis Jordan and his Tympany Five.

Blessings,

Also one of my faves....Very nice! I went to your site and listened to "Maria Elena". Love the vibrato on both. Hats off!

I first heard LJ while driving late one night in the early '80s, I drifted in to the signal of a low power "full service" AM station that apparently played pretty much anything after the boss went home. I guess the DJ was on other business as he had simply put on a T-5 greatest hits side and let it run. I got a bit out of town and the signal started to fade, so I turned around drove back, and parked. My out of state tags apparently attracted the attention of the local constabulariy as I got a knock on the window.. I lowered it as "Is You is or is You Ain't my Baby" started, the deputy just looked at the radio, 'darn college kids..' they will let anyone work up at that station.." and walked away.

Glad you like this one too.
I like challenging tunes especially now that I am retired.

Has anyone heard of a tune called "Airline Special" I couldn't find it anywhere, but it seems like another challenging tune.

Blessings to all,
Abel

Any chance you might mean "Air Mail Special" by Charlie Christian with Benny Goodman band?

BTW, Great job and sound on "Chickens", and I agree with Sceefer -- beautiful job on "Maria Elena".

Yes, the guy made a mistake and I couldn't find "Airplane Special.
It was indeed "Air Mail Special" and it will be my next tune (God Willing).

After that … "Mission to Moscow" (GW).
Thanks, please keep suggesting.
