    I don't think a Pro Jr is very tweedy (and I don't like them at all, actually). YMMV, some people swear by them.
    If you really want a tweed amp, get a used Victoria, or even a Ceriatone. They will cost you more than a Pro Jr, but it won't cost a fortune and should be easy to resell if you don't end up using it all the time.

    If you want tweed, get a kit and build one. Build your own cabinet to save some dough. The experience of it makes it worth it. PJr isn’t a proper tweed, the AS gets you closer.

    I never loved the BJ or the PJ 8n stock form. But I knew a guy who got a PJ wider, tweed cab made, with a 12" speaker, and it always sounded great. He had either a Celestion Blue or Gold in it(cant remember but I WAS a Celestion Alnico).
