    Hello all,
I have long wanted an electric that played & felt closer to my acoustic guitars. A large, wide, deep neck was paramount. I finally pulled the trigger a couple of years ago and ordered a neck & body from Warmoth, and I had Pete Biltoft of Vintage Vibe Guitars build me a pair of pickups to go with it. My good friend, John Monteleone, shot the finish for me. I hope you like it! IMG_4983.JPG

I would have to search my email at home for the exact information, but basically I searched for ‘faux tortoise guitar parts’. I found a guy in NJ who casts knobs, etc. I also got knobs, but these are better visually.

Wow, I would love to see some shots of the whole guitar. Did you build it, or get a body and neck from somewhere?

    Amazing job. Love it!

Edit, oops, saw it in your first post!

As I said in my original post at the top I got the neck & body from Warmoth, and the pickups from Pete Biltoft.

    Glad you like it!

That’s a beautiful show piece. Please tell me you play it like you stole it.

    Thanks, Jimilee!
I can let the video do the talking, but in general I can't play well when I feel guilty..........:)

This is me playing bottleneck in open D tuning straight into a Fishman Loudbox acoustic amplifier with the built-in delay on a bit.

    Hopefully this link will work:

    Enjoy,
    Howard

Same guitar through my Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue with a JBL D123. A little on the crisp side, but I'm still learning how to use my iPhone with a Shure MV88 mic.

If you don't make that guitar your avatar, I'll be really disappointed.

Wow man. That is one fantastic looking and sounding guitar. Congrats. Enjoyed your playing too, that Crossing Crystal Lake was awesome!
