What can i say... :D Dave mason recorded this song with the great Jim Krueger on backing vocals and acoustic guitar.. and Krueger wrote the song!
I liked it so much i decided to record how i did the song, maybe it could be helpfull to others.

Dave Mason's band during that period (when he recorded Certified Live) was amazing. Krueger was great, but he also had Gerald Johnson on bass, Mike Finnegan (who is the really strong voice on the backups on this recording) on keys and a great drummer in Rick Jaeger. I can't remember if he used the same guys on the studio recording, but it was very much 'that sound'....

I think we used to do "let it go, let it flow' back when the record was out.. I learned it in college along with look at you, look at me.... great stuff..

You sound great on this and it is cool that you took the time to learn the whole thing...

Krueger used to use a talk box too... it was kind of a.... oh.. you know, it was when Joe Walsh and Frampton were using them too...

Anyway, great job. I saw DM several times during the 70's and into the early 80's... great player and singer... (and the acoustic player on Hendrix's all along the watchtower!)

I love this. Also love the tele, and the matching strat in the background! I've been trying to work up a decent solo acoustic version of this, but haven't had much luck.

Wauw, very cool you have seen Dave Mason in the good times!
I didn't know that Mike Finnigan was on this album also, he is stunning!
The album Black and White from Finnigan is a very underrated album in my opinion :)
Also thank you for the kind words off course :D
