I bought an 8F125-T to try in the Champion 20 amp. I asked for the aluminum dust cap and opted for a custom basket color- Orange! They had an order for a 12" at the same time with an orange basket so they took a picture of both to promote their custom colors.

The picture is in a slide show at the bottom of the Homepage. C J confirmed this to me today and it will ship tomorrow. Their Orange color looks as cool as I thought it would be!

Will do. I am going from a mid range Eminence to a bright Weber but I think I can control it.

Weber is such a great company to deal with and their products are absolutely top notch. I mean, what's not to like about a made to order speaker to your specs for the same price as most other brands off the shelf stuff that's made overseas?

Super cool. I love aluminum dust caps. I've got 'em on the original speakers in my '69 Sunn 212 cab. They make me happy.

I don't care what they say about greenbacks and the like, orange is where the tone is.

Yeah man, I couldn't for the life of me find the picture itself to download, so I took a screen shot.

It looks great, but I wish they would change the sticker color to match the paint. I bought some 10F150's in Blue.
Looks great, but that green sticker just doesn't match.

That’s so cool! I remember many years ago, my brother’s F Bass 6-string was on the cover of Bass Player magazine. He felt like Mike Wizowski, on the cover of a magazine!

For a 30 watt 8", it does have a big a** magnet. I like big a** magnets. I wonder if this rating is a little conservative. Right now I want clean and loud from this little amp. Eminence gave it to me in spades. I love Eminence and I hope to love Weber. I must say they are great to communicate with!!

Yea, no one will shoot this speaker next November:p

I suspect the magnet might be too heavy for a stamped basket.
    I'd certainly handle it carefully.

Same speakes Hendrix used on recordings done at Electric Lady.
Those tracks seem to be brighter, as would be expected.

It is CUTE and it sounds EXCELLENT!!! It is what I was hoping it would be. It sounds a little better than the Eminence but it is different. It is bright but more balanced than being too bright. The 65 Princeton voice was my preference today. I pulled some good tone out of this little setup using the 65 Princeton voice. I played my hot Bootstrap A3 thru it and now I have to go back and hear my SD Broadcaster thru it. I am also going to play with a 7 band EQ pedal.

This speaker was described as flat and it is flat! It really reminds me of a studio monitor- flat, flat, flat. I really like it and I am sure I can find my tone. C J & Weber did a very good job! I can only imagine what their 12" speakers sound like.

My Eminence favored the Tweed Bassman tone and this Weber I see favors the Blackface tone.

All the reviews from the Steel Guitar Blog to here are correct! I think Weber can get close to a JBL.

I call this 8" my Weber mini me JBL wannabe. Very happy with the orange color also.

OH... it is very efficient!!! I had the gain on 7 and amp volume on 4 and it was LOUD and CLEAR! It is louder than the Eminence and the Eminence is no slouch! I think it is 98 vs 94 in efficiency.

This and the Eminence put this little SS Champion 20 in a new category. 100_1246.JPG 100_1245.JPG .

Played it again today. It is flat but dynamic. This little guy impresses the heck out of me. Plenty loud for the little gigs I have played and hope to play soon.
