    You havta look close but that is a lexan filler under the mini ring.
    Prolly should paint it black, but this looks leaner than an adaptor over a full size ring, right?
    Im also making custom pickup covers out of this material.
    A clear cover over an open winding looks cool on the last bass pickup I made.

    Hey when onstage people can't see minutiae.
    Someone once remarked about my Fender which was one of my builds using Brush Script Printing font on to a label plastic that I made at home. Can't say the name due to posting/forum rules.
