Her name is Toni Orlicki. I post this here to explain why I've been gone awhile, and also to ask for prayers from those who have faith.

She's been an incredible girlfriend who has always encouraged me to get away from the computer and out into the garage. Wonderful right?

She has stage 4 cancer. We are looking into a second opinion later today.

She bought me my first set of stuff from stew mac. Fretwire, cauls, a fretbender, and a few fretboard. 20 years ago.

All im really asking is that you share this link with your peeps in social media.

The more shares we get the more likely someone will help her.

Thanks guys for listening. It's been an unusually tough night. I'm taking her to kartchner caverns and a few other places until I can get her into banner md anderson.

I'm not looking for a cure, but she wants more time in the wilderness, around campfires with her mother.

Shes jaundiced which means her liver is mostly occluded. Praying that some gi doc puts a stent into her liver to drain fluid and provide some relief so she can eat and stay...and also, she no longer qualifies for clinical trials due to jaundice, so if they can alleviate that....maybe there is some hope.

I guess the big thing is prayers and shares.

We are raising money largely because we believe that surgery and radiation from an aggressive hospital will help extend her life...but those facilities like Mayo and CtCa dont take her insurance.

Share where you can. Thanks so much.

    Newbcaster.

Best to you both. I will think of her and send what ever kind of healing energy I can. There is hope as long as you can get the proper care. Sadly that's not available to everyone, but that's a whole 'nother rant.

Prayers for you too, Newbcaster. I'm so sorry.

A buddy of mine is in chemo these days. He's just a couple years older than me. When it comes close, you really feel it.

I've sent the link to my guitar buddies.

Ok guys, I just got back from the hospital and saw how you folks have responded. I love all of you. I really do and am so incredibly grateful for the support and friendship. Cancer sucks ass but all my friends are in this little computery box here. Thank you. It means so much that I'm not ALONE in this.
