Sometimes something comes out of the blue and blows you away. My personal home built Nocaster always had a Duncan antiquity in the neck.... and it was a great Keef style tele.... but honestly a little bland... switched it out for a +5% overwound Fralin P90 in the neck .... that is now out of phase with the Sheptone bridge pickup (which is amazing on its own by the way) and this is the tone that’s in my head... that woody cranked tweed that can clean up with the volume knob but still have a growl when you want it. Touch sensitive. This had become an afterthought in my rotation. I’m now obsessed with it.
