Absolutely thrilled can't wait to get everything into it!
NICE! I love that shade of green...where didja get the body from?
A place called Axerus, never heard of them before but a TDPRI user guided me there haha
It's sea foam green but to me looks more surf in person which is fantastic
Here's the guitar which is donating the parts, falling out of love with it is hard but I'm keeping the body just in case.
Nice Guitar - I have had a Thinline body from Axesrus a while back - and I have been thinking about the green one - yours possibly convinced me to jump!
into the sea of foam? Good man!
I do have a MIM std - that came to me after someone attempted a relic job - looks like a dog but plays well - may make a good donor!- whats the weight of yours approx?
The white one or green?
The green body is 5lb
The green - 5lb is good - I don;t think I would feel right with one of those Pauwlonia (however you spell it) lightweight bodies
Does anyone else think it looks more surf green?
Nice, I hope the assembly works out great.
Man, I love that color. It would look amazing w/ rosewood board IMHO. But either way it will look great. Good luck with it.
I wish I was good with electronics so I could get this thing all ready
Such a strange colour though in different lighting
You went for it! Good stuff. I want one to but have other needs for my hard earned pittance
Thanks for posting the pics, Gary. All the pix on their site are watermarked, so it's good to see what the actual body looks like - looks really nice.
Post more pics as the build progresses...
Single ply 5-hole white guard please! I know its not period accurate - but to me, that can't be beat. Either way, nice work
Yeah I need one but I'm trying to get this finished before my exam on wednesday so this is how it is for now, any links to single ply white pickguards from fender?
cant you just buy an esquire pg and rout a hole for your pickup?
could do but I wouldnt trust myself routing it
Once the things finished I'm gonna try and get the guitar on Axerus
