Got a hectic summer gigging coming up so I though I'd share this pic of my numbers 1 & 2. I only ever take 2 guitars to any gig.

The '52RI is just a tone machine with a low action and, now that I've got used to the neck and frets, a joy to play.

The MIM has Toneriders, Fender vintage bridge, powdered steel knobs, electro-socket & a Sprague cap. Oh, and a sexy girlie transfer ;)

    Bring on the gigs :D

I'm always a sucker for a '52 reissue or anything wearing BS blonde.

Very nice ladies you have there.
How do you like the Toneriders? I bought a set & havent put them in yet.
I really like the transfer. I just recently found a source for them.

Iv always thought if you want the Tele sound, you have to start with a AVRI.

    Rock On

The Baja is being rested up for a while. I have posted before a couple of times about having a new body made for it - that process is on-going, we're really taking our time with the paint job, wanna give that nitro plenty of time to dry.

I've also got some problems with the bridge pickup, so I'll either get that repaired or stick an OV in it that I've had laying around for a while.

The Baja will be back (in an Arnie voice) :D

Thanks Craig - I do feel very blessed with my little Tele collection.

The Toneriders are astounding pickups for the money. I have a Hot Classic in the bridge, and a Classic Plus at the neck. They both give a slightly 'hotter', very natural Tele tone. Twang, bang & thud are all present and correct. The Spruage cap makes the tone 'breathe' a wee bit more.

The AVRI was a 40th birthday present to myself and it is an awsome guitar. I took a bit of time getting used to the neck radius as my other 2 Teles are 9.5" against the '52s 7.25" - but now I'm comfortable with it it plays like butter.
