It was a requirement for getting her. Not something I enjoyed doing but I understand the real necessity, not the breeders reason to make sure I don't breed her.

The need to spay and neuter pets is to keep the abandoned population down, which sadly isn't working.

I got her home and she is sleeping peacefully. She is really active and a jumper so I have to watch her closely for at least a week. My vet said it was a little difficult because she has had several litters.

At my age the only option was getting a older retired or rescue dog, which I did. She is really a stellar dog and companion.

I hope she does fine. We have a couple foster dogs.... now adopted. They were supposedly spayed but came into heat!
We had them spayed, one almost lost her life from it. She had to have surgery again to correct some internal issues.

Good luck to both of you. It seems like I've had a dog all of my life. After each one of them, I swear off getting any more of them because the loss is too painful. Then, I don't know, something comes over me, and here I am with two more! Just came in from our walk. Monday is lawn day for me, but the dogs they don't understand about maybe not going, when the sun gets low in the sky, they come to me, and look at me, and I just have to man up and go. Again, best wishes for a quick and complete recovery for your little doggie!

I hope she's doing well.

We have cats. When they get stressed we give them either CBD oil or this herbal stuff we get at the pet store called "rescue remedy". It usually calms them down. We've also used pheromone diffusers that we get at the same pet store.

take care of that pup...

She recovered fine and doing very well. She is a great little dog. Its been a while since I posted this but thanks for the responses.
No bad dogs, there never have been and there never will be. ONLY BAD OWNERS, CARE GIVERS OR TRAINERS.

Never give up on your investment in your pup, she will never give up on you!

I love my dog only second to my wife.
