There is so much trash flying around, it makes you throw up. Astonishing Results happen in a very short time and it makes you feel really good, since there is not much to do for a Guitarpicker these days. And it costs nothing!

Very cool. I have to look into this as I bike quite a bit (but avoid roads with motor vehicle traffic).

I don't know how common it is, but there is a group in my area that kayaks and picks up trash in rivers and lakes. I've never been in a kayak but that seems like a good reason to start.

When I ride, I stop and pick up discarded coins off the street. :D

I used to do that a lot when I lived on the beach in San Diego. Good man.

Cool. I've spent more twidding time on amps than ever before, and trying them out at practices and gigs. Speaker swapping is my current focus area.

It truly is discouraging.....and a lot of it goes on in parts of my area (typically out of the city limits, in the county). It's sad, don't know where folks think this stuff will go....Heck, even when we used to drink beer illegally on the beach at night, we'd throw the empties in the trash cans the city provided - was ridiculous, a trash can at every street entrance to the beach, and people would just leave trash on the freaking beach. I learned at an early age, "pack out more than you pack in....." which to me meant, don't leave any trash, and pick up after others, if possible. There's obviously some great folks, but a lot of humans are disgusting and they don't seem to care

    Thank you.
I have been to Germany and I could not believe how individuals in the communities cooperate to remove refuse. It is quite a different philosophy than what I have experienced here in the US. I too have taken it on myself to help maintain the bike paths where I ride. There are too few of us compared to the litterbugs.

    Good work there sir!

We are constantly picking up after others, and it really gets old. But if we don't pick it up it just breads more trash.

What is the arm coming off of your seat post? Is it a tool for picking up garbage?

    Litterers are trash!

Surfrider Foundation sponsors a beach cleanup day at the beginning of summer. I go to that one. But now you have given me a good idea! I can do this all year long! It will be another retirement hobby. Thanks for doing this!
