Nice rig zane. Gotta love that no interest 12 pay plan zZounds offers plus they'll match or better any other price and still offer the payment plan. Those bastards will be the wreck of me yet! LOL

By the way. Have you played "Old '55" on the new '52 yet? ;)

congrats! i have a 1983 version of the '52, and i love it. i've been through two necks on it, and now i want to find a soft c, 7.25" neck for it. i may slap one of the classic series mim necks on it. it fits my profile/radius specs. :)

    enjoy that beauty.

Yep Zzounds is great,I've bought quite a few things from them over the years ...
    the payment plans rocks!!
Been without a Tele for a while...got into learning bass the last few years ...
the new American Vintage models started calling my name ...
I'd bought the amp from Vistalux here in Ft Worth a few years ago & sold it to my brother...
I found out he was wanting to sell it the day after I got the Tele so it worked out Purty good...
    can't hardly beat that combo...

    I've had a couple different 52's over time an early 2000's & a 2008 ...
believe this is the best one of the 3 I've owned...
It has a great tone & I like the feel of the neck better ...
    Awesome guitar !

ps. If you could find one of the lacquer Classic series necks ,that'd be Purty cool !

    Congrats.
There is just something timeless about a blackguard style Tele!!! A classic look and, coupled with a Tweed, hard to beat.

Congrats. I own a lefty '99 '52RI. It's my #1 guitar. I'm curious how these newer models differ from the previous '52RIs. Mine has a more tinted neck and the butterscotch is more transparent, showing a good amount of ash wood grain. I've modded mine over the years, adding a 4-way switch (recommended), Hipshot B bender, and now I'm cutting a piece of cowhide leather to replace the pick guard.

Congrats. The post 2012 '52 RIs are the best "blackguard" Tele Fender has made since the originals.
