Back at the beginning of May, I posted a link to a web site I set up for a new project. The idea was to produce tracks of cover tunes and get my musician friends to play and/or sing on them. Since then, the song list has grown to just over 30 songs. Here's the list of what's there:

Mama Weer All Crazee Now - Slade
Eight Days A Week - Beatles
    My Back Pages - Byrds
    Memo From Turner - Stones
Do You Believe In Magic - Lovin' Spoonful
    Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty
It's No Good - Depeche Mode
    Golden Years - Bowie
    No Matter What - Badfinger
    Wichita Lineman - Glen Campbell
    Vanilla Radio - The Wildhearts
Smile A Little Smile - Flying Machine
    Red Hot - Robert Gordon
Never My Love - The Association
Head Over Heels - Tears for Fears
I'm An Adult Now - Pursuit of Happiness
Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Queen
    Saturday Superhouse - Biffy Clyro
    If I Didn't Love You - Squeeze
Deserted Cities of the Heart - Cream
    Perfection - Badfinger
    Combination - Aerosmith
Till the End of the Day - The Kinks
    Heroin Girl - Everclear
Let Me Roll It - Paul McCartney
    Pincushion - ZZ Top
Better Man Than I - Yardbirds
    No Myth - Michael Penn
    Mr. Spaceman - Byrds
    Girl Like You - Smithereens
    Nebraska - Bruce Springsteen

I did most of the drum programming, bass and guitar work, some keyboards. Most of the songs feature my friends from LI and Philly, some of them I did by myself. I let the guests pick the songs they wanted to do, and it's turned out to be a pretty varied list! It's crazy to look at the site and see how much stuff is there now, and I'll be adding more tunes as I get them done. I'm waiting on tracks for 'New Sensation' by INXS and 'Blue Wind' by Jeff Beck. I figure I'll keep adding songs until everyone can get back to playing real gigs again.
