Thank you Everyone for the kind words! God Bless You All! I have many stories, as I am sure many of you do. I did not post this on Facebook. I did it here.
Mookie was well traveled and saw many sites and States. He was with me as much as I could have him with me. He hiked everywhere with me in a few states as well. Rode in the front seat of my Jeep, and he would strong arm you in the kitchen! He was with me for Thirteen years! God Bless You Mookie! Once again thank you much! God Bless You All!

    Peace & Love.

    Philip

Sorry for your loss..... I love pugs, I grew up with pugs in the house.
My mother would take them to dog shows and win a few ribbons once
in a while. One was named Pedro, so he got called Puddie,
then we had Ming, and Foo, and my friend had a black one.
The funniest dogs you could ever own.
When Ming was old he used to pass out in the heat
and my Dad would give him mouth to nose resuscitation.

Sorry for your loss. We get attached and I lost a couple best fur buddies recently. It is real pain. And our oldest is a pug mix. So much weird personality. It will be tough again someday.

Pets are as important, if not more, than any human being. Love with no questions. Sorry your baby had to leave. Remember, no one could have given him a better life than you and it made his every day.

@Tidepoolbay - there's a possibility that this 'toon is true.
And that means Mookie's waiting for you, man!
    And @Toto'sDad - guess what?

The pain from losing a loved one is the deepest of all pains the heart can endure. And you TD have had more than your share.
Amazingly, through it all you can deal with the loss and go on to love again.
You sir are much stronger than I am, if I was faced with the pain of losing loved ones as you have, I think I’d dig a hole and jump in it.
You are a truly admirable person.

Thank you for your comments BG. I don't know how one continues, you just do. My son will be gone six years the 27th of December. There seemed to be no reason to go on when he left, losing my son was devastating, but we are wired to go on, so that's what I've done. My wife has lost five of her siblings, they were all loved ones of mine too. Why are we still here? I haven't a clue. Little Toto was with me through it all, yet when it was his time to go, I was powerless to help him, nor was the vet who gave me a few extra months with him which I'm grateful for. All of us are stronger than we might think. I can't talk about where my strength comes from here, without which I would have failed long ago.
