Oftentimes I take pics outside the windows throughout the year. I don't plan it, I just look outside and if I think the view is pleasant or interesting somehow I hold my phone up to the window and do a few shots from various angles. This is today:
As soon as I did this, the Google Pictures App gave me a "Remember This Day?" sequence. Apparently it was trying to tell me I did the same thing one year ago, almost to the hour:
I looked back, and there was October 25th, 2020. There was a tent party going on in the green, which I felt was a bad choice during the times:
This was before I started timestamping my pics, but here's Oct 25, 2019:
I feel like I should get out more, or something. Granted the span of these pictures was during a time when that was verboten, but you know what I mean.
As for what happened to the trees, three words: Emerald Ash Borer.
