German Spruce over walnut 12 Fret 0 lefty .
Interesting stuff - what are the little white blobs on headstock?
Thats a Nice Guitar their it looks a very expensive one i bet it is great to play on.
They are saddles . Blobs indeed .
Please note the type of tuning machines used and the lack of a slotted headstock .
Perhaps I shouldn't be trying to view on my phone... still more interesting
12 fret guitars have a special voodoo
Very nice, what finish is that on the back and sides?
I like the blobs. they prevent the strings cut into the headstock as well. Well thought.
That's a beauty! I really like the headstock design.
Vey nice, and I really like the head blobs idea. "Otterblobs"?
That is a very nice parlor guitar! i like the finish.
Standard Martin or Gibson saddle material depending on whether cut 3/32" or 1/8" . Very available materials (bone) that even an Afghani goat herder could work with . I love simple . Headstock shapes that are totally impossible with this style tuning machine are also possible . You could even do a Gumby Gibson Moderne headstock shape with this setup . A radius must be shaped into the saddles on the side where the strings break over them or the strings will work harden and break . The radius cures this .
Only the top has a burst . Satin Nitro that was dulled , so it could be buffed to a gloss if desired , but I like the satin . Old school look .
Any lefty is a beautiful piece of gear this is outstanding , brilliant job!
I dig it. I ven like the chocolate burst
