its no secret that I have designed and built some of my own repair and test equipment for amp repairs , guitar setups and repairs, I just built a repair/test calibration station for euro rack modules as well as testing speakers /drivers etc

first I found a kit for +12/-12/+5volt powersupply using 4700uf caps to smooth out the ripple , then I found an 8 channel IDC based buss board some kits for external porting of the IDC connectors.
I got a korg NTS-2 4 channel oscilloscope , 2 channel variable wave form generator , tuner, frequenct monitor and will do A/C or D/C coupling and added a 20 to 20K htz 0 to 14db signal generator for square and sine wave , I tested the signal generator on my RTA it was dead accurate . the large buttons are for gate triggers and the blank panel is a template to make panels the white panel on the bottom is a dual VCA that needs calibration

a fun project for me

corner of walk and don't walk
That looks nice !!!

How do you like the Korg O-scope?

I have the old Velleman PCSGU250 unit that works in conjunction with my laptop

I'd like to get a small (inexpensive) scope that works on its own

There are so many of them out on the market -

My needs are pretty minimal - I'd probably just use the scope for amp trouble-shooting and pickup evaluation

Any suggestions?

there are so many features on it for the price
4 separate traces each with variable input controls
freeze function
tuner
frequency analyzer
DC coupling for control voltage A/C coupling for audio levels
the inputs are mirrored outs for all four channels by that I mean input 1to 4 has a pass through out to use live in circuit
there are 2 separate channels out for signal generation with variable sine/square/ramp outs

check this out

Wow - that ^^^ looks like a powerful tool

I'm guessing that you bought yours as a kit?

.
it comes un-assembled and 10 minutes one cup of coffee later its done., I built a 28 HP euro-rack panel and fit it to the panel then had the 5 volts USB C fed off of the +5 volt rail of the power supply it also runs on 2 AA batteries.
