My good friend just finished recording his first album, and I got to play Tele on a few tracks. We just shot the first video. It was so much fun, but seemed a little weird "guitar syncing" to my own playing, especially since I had fills throughout the song, and about a minute long guitar solo at the end. I think the video came out good. The song is called "Who Will Part The Waters Now?". The song's lyric and message tread on some topics not to be discussed, so we won't talk about it...but I think the musical performances and the song as a whole, as well as the video are all fair game. It is a slow burn, but worth the ride I think. I am interested in hearing your opinions. Thanks for watching!

Sounds great but,,, where'd you get the electricity. And very tricky getting room acoustics in the great outdoors.

    Very nice.

Hypnotic in the verses, so it was a very effective arrangement to have the drum kit come into the mix late and crank it up a gear.
Very good playing and vocals all round. I still feel it is a bit too long, but that might just be because the frequent picture cuts can get a bit wearing after a while.... I am seeing more of this method of putting together a presentation - brought upon us all by the restrictions of coronovirus movement and social distance limitations, so it might be we will have adapt to it and soon find it normal...

I have gone on too long myself, now! A great song and excellent work!

Thanks tintag27. I felt it was a little long too, and that he should have cut the "Who Will Part The Waters" part after the fiddle solo, and just did the last verse and out...but it was his baby and he was paying the studio bill :)

Fair enough - it's still good... Music is very subjective anyway!

I just figured that you and the bass player were wireless ;)

Anyway, I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing!

The bass player and the fiddle player have their instruments in the same location!

    Cool song.

Thanks djh22! We were definitely wireless. Probably for the best, I might have ended up in the river if I had a cord to trip over :D

Thanks for watching Informal! Justin definitely likes his bass up high, but man that guy can lock down a groove! Fun to play with.

Thanks decker. I appreciate the kind words.
