    Hi,

Thanks guys for the kind words, I can't get over how good this guitar feels and sounds. I have problems with my left hand and my other guitars can get a bit painful to play but the neck on this Tele is so easy to play. I had read about the quality of these Japanese made guitars but didn't expect them to be this good.

As I am new to the Tele world I don't know much about the finer details, does anyone know what this finish is called? Is it 'blonde'? 'Olympic white'? I really have no idea:)

    Steve

Ah, 'white blonde' you must have read my mind!

that marks the day you are a true man. (haha)

they are addictive. i bought my first and two weeks later i had three. first was a AM std that i put dimarzio twang kings in. then a AMDLX Special II, then a '52 AVRI.

i went from strats tp superstrats, LP's, SG's, to superstrats, and now i am in with the teles.

HNGD look around and enjoy. there is a pic thread that usually hangs out on the first page.

    cheers!

It sounds far better than I was expecting, I was prepared to upgrade the pickups, I was thinking Bare Knuckle 'Yardbird' but having played around with it, lowered the pickups, it has a incredible range of tone. The neck can be warm & bluesy, the bridge classic twang but with the tone rolled off a bit and overdriven, boy does it rock!

I presume the pickups are stock, they have no lettering/numbers on them.

As you can tell I have become VERY excited about this guitar:)

Very nice! There's something about a good Tele - they're really hard to beat. Have fun with your new guitar!

if you do change pickups, i was really impressed with Dimarzio Twang Kings. i got a set for $100 from a dealer on ebay. they are great, a little hotter (good or bad depending what you want), but they are nice and clear and really got some bite, and work well with a slight roll backs on both the volume and tone.

for reference, i have on other with lace nashville style, and the other is a 52AVRI. all are quite enjoyable.
