Had a piece of Alder laying around just waiting to be turned into a guitar. Here's my first Telecaster build.
Warmoth neck, Texas Special pickups, 4 way switching.
Parts I made or had made: All router patterns, body, aluminum pickguard, stainless steel control plate with angled switch with more spacing between the switch and the volume knob, stainless body inlay (Thank you Ron Thorn for your advice), black lacquer paint.
    7 lbs. 4.4oz.

@Mistahbrock I had the control plate water jetted. Rock Rabbit was my inspiration. I drew it up in Autocad and created a DXF file for the water jet to follow. The pickguard's in Autocad also. It's custom sized for the larger 5/16" body radius.

Thank you for all the nice comments!
This is the first of two I’m doing. This one is for a friend and was my practice guitar for my sons tele. My sons will be a bit more exotic. Flame maple neck ebony board all titanium parts dog hair finish. Be done soon.
