For my 50th birthday, my brother wanted to get matching tattos. We decided on the Celtic Brotherhood symbol. There is another guitar related symbol inside of the pattern.

I like them a lot. Nice colours and proportion. Been thinking of another tattoo lately myself.

Peace, Mike.

Those are cool! Just a head's up, tattoos are addictive. My first order of business when I get a job is some more ink.

Congrats, it probably won't be your last!

I got a Telecaster from elbow to wrist on my right forearm. Inside of that forearm, a 6L6 tube surrounded by bluebirds and roses, with a banner that reads "TRUTH" underneath. It goes from about elbow to wrist too.

Other forearm has a pinup girl (Red Hot Riding Hood, from the Tex Avery cartoon) on the outside, then a cowboy singing playing a Tele and singing to his (stacked, redhead) cowgirl on the inside, wreathed by prickly pear.

Two things; first off what is the "Celtic Brotherhood" and second is why?

That's really cool! I have 3 tattoos myself, and I my first one when I was 30ish. It was a turning point in my life, and I had a brainstorm of what I wanted, and decided it was time I do it. I've always thought, I can't because of work, what will my family think, I'm a girl, etc etc. The tattoo artist said "you're gonna want another soon" and I said nah one is enough, I waited this long. The first one is a diamond with some lyrics to a song around it by a local band I follow, great song, about being strong and not having life break you, pretty much. So I thought that was it for me, but sure enough a year or two later, I was back getting #2. I found a piece of jewelry online with a cutout of a dove, so I got the dove shape on my arm. # 3 came a few years after that, I wanted one that I didn't have to wear tanks to see (for work purposes, the other two are hidden with most shirts since they are up on my arm). So I wanted one on my wrist, where I could somewhat hide it with a watch for work. This one I got from another song, Sting's Fragile, it's a star with two teardrops, and some tribably work around it so it's like a bracelet (but not around the whole wrist). I've always loved that song, especially the message of non-violence, peace, etc, and it goes with the dove on the same arm.

They've been spaced out fairly well. I do want another, but I haven't figured out what or where yet. All three of mine have come to me rather randomly, and have various meanings to me, so that's the way I like to go about it. If a 4th one is out there for me, it will make itself known at the right time.
