Mr. Hulot's Holiday is my very favorite film. If I have had a bad day or am just generally ticked off at the world it's the film I pop in the DVD player and I feel so much better by the end. I have seen it at least a hundred times and I find something new every single time.

I would say Holy Grail is more goofy than Life Of Brian...totally silly and very, very funny.

UHF. Hands down. Weird 'Al' Yankovic's one and only film. I've watched it so many times now - never fails.

Oh man, I'm in tears laughing. If you've ever been in the military, hot day on the parade ground and the drill instructor haranguing your platoon, for me all it needed was for another squaddie to make a funny face at me and I'm trying hard not to break up.

Of course if you liked that one there is also Mon Oncle - also a Jacques Tati with Monseur Hulot. They are both great and classic films.
