We had a Lhasa. When we got her, someone outside the store said "Lotsa A$$hole? Good luck." Wow were they right. Horrible little dog.
Chloe, was probably the best dog in the neighborhood. She had her independent routine and as long as that was respected, she was never a problem. Couldn't say that about the other dogs that were yappier breeds, larger or smaller.

We were at friends yesterday. They have three fairly well behaved dogs about her size just a little bigger. Finally just before dinner was served she presented herself in the manner where she's commincating a desire. My wife knew right away she'd had enough dog fun. Since were just around the corner I drove her home. She leapt for the car door as soon as I pulled into the driveway.
Hey….when you’re done….you’re done. ;)

I plan on possibly taking my middle aged Lab (we don't say old or senior here at the ranch) to Arkansas to visit dear friends in November.

They have forty acres, three horses, a pond, and about eight cats. Plus female Jack Russell terriers, which won't be an issue. He's pretty affable with other dogs unless they're on his property.

I may spend all my time restraining Flash from bothering all the other species. But still planning a road trip with him. I can always board him in Mena if he exhibits unacceptable behavior.

Hope I don't end up begging to go home.
