Hope it goes well. My guy blew his out a couple months ago. Too old and over weight to have the surgery. He wobbles on it. But basically I have to carry him in and out 4 times a day.

Best wishes for Abigail. I'm a huge fan of smaller terriers having owned several Westies- they have a disposition just like my 5' wife!

Is Abigail a Lakeland (or a Welshie?)

Hope it goes well. We're facing a similar issue with our terrier guy...vet said it was borderline if the surgery was needed. We're in wait and see mode.

    Hey John

Cisco (my whippet) and I wish Abigail all the best.

    Cheers Gerry

Ps BoBo the whippet in my avatar died a couple of years ago but I still like that photo of her.

She is a Welsh. We have two. Gibson and Abigail. The surgery went well, although she had a small meniscus tear as well. We pick her up tomorrow at 10:00 and then the healing begins. Again thanks everyone, seems the good wishes helped.

Good news. It sounds like Abigail will be back to being a terrier soon enough!

Good luck with the surgery. You’ll be happy you chose to have it done.

Those little guys heal so fast. I remember Lucy, one of my Westies, having a lobe of her lung removed when an acute case of kennel cough created a bad infection. She was back to terrorizing her brother within days...
