I can't hear the phrase 'Fatty Acid' without thinking about Jerry Garcia, for some crazy reason...;-)

Hey, congrats to a proud father. The first one is extra special in engineering, so it really is big time for her and her career.

    That's right.

I wish as a son I could take credit for my Dad's patents, but it don't work that way around! ;)

Congrats! I have several patents in various fields and I work closely with my patent attorneys, so I know how much work (and money) it takes to get one....

Now comes the next hard part--building a marketable product based on her technology so she can cash in on her work. If anything, that's as hard as getting to the issued patent stage.

What's her patent #? I'd like to read it....
