Funny, you never see them together. I read a review of the Tim Armstrong guitar in a magazine, I actually think it's kinda cool. My only issue is I wish the cat inlays were walking along the fretboard when held in a playing position.

If you play one of the more recent albums from Rancid backwards (sorry, can't remember which) you can actually hear the words "I'm not on tdpri" It's true!!!

Them's fightin' words, Chet!

I was more just plain tired, we'd been playing a lot of gigs...

As for Rancid Tim, well, bless his heart. I'm FRESH Tim!

So wait a minute...
You're saying that's not your signature guitar?
I'm gonna have to cancel my order.

Rancid's Tim Armstrong with his signature Fender which is based on the Harmony Made mid sixties Fender he has written all Rancid's material on.

Other guitars that Tim Armstrong uses are his well battered and painted over Gretsch Country Club. The story goes that Armstrong ran away from home and grabbed one of his Dad's guitars before leaving, that guitar is still his main stage instrument.

And thanks to his deal with fender he now has a really cool back up for his old Seventies Gretsch.
