So sorry man.
I love cats, and I have several.
Sorry to hear. Snoopy looks very sweet.
My heart goes out to you, Blazer.
I still remember finding the collar of the little cat belonging to the couple 2 households to the North of me, in my garden. The lady was never overly friendly before that, and now I'm officially the "Bearer of Bad News" for her - I get the cold shoulder, even now 10 years later.
So, while you mourn the loss of your loved one, give your neighbors the benefit of the doubt. Even the ones you think, simply don't care.....you might find, they do.
That's horrible Blaze. I'm so sorry for your loss.
It's a dangerous life for any animal outdoors. Snoopy must have been pretty cunning to have made it for 11 years. I feel sad for you. The loss of a cherished pet is felt the same way as the loss of any loved one. I hope the end was quick for snoopy and I hope the good memories never fade.
11 years is a good run for an outdoor cat.
Sorry Blazer. Cat lover here and have lost a few in my lifetime. Looks like you had quite a few years together and sure you will always miss him as I do mine.
so sorry for your loss.
She got that name because it's based on the Dutch word "Snoep" which means Candy.
Our Topi is now about 16-17 years old. In her younger days she was often away from home so long periods, that I've buried her in my mind many times. She is a bit old already and some day she'll be gone for ever too. So I bought a statue from a flee market and painted it to look like Topi. Once the meowing stops, we'll still have the statue...
Sorry to hear your news.
When my wife and I got together, she had 6 cats and, in the 17 years we've been together we lost them all - one in similar circumstances to yours.
It's awful to come to terms with but try to focus on the great times.
Sad day. I lost my cat the very same way.
Yesterday I happened to read about the florida panters. Almost all cougars that is killed by traffic seems to be male. Wiki says females don't like to cross roads. I wonder if it is the same thing with our house cats?
Losing a beloved pet is as painful as losing a close family member (because that's what they ARE). I'm sorry for your loss. She had a good life with you---remember that.
I have strong feelings about letting domestic cats run loose but that's a topic for another time.
She was lucky to have you as her "human". Remember you provided her with a life better than 99% of the cats in the world.
That suck, sorry for your loss.
Very sorry to hear, pets are so important to some people and families....including me.
The dog said, “ My humans feed me, shelter me, love me and take care of all of my needs. They must be gods”.
The cat said, “My humans feed me, shelter me, love me and take care of all of my needs. I must be a god”.
Blazer, thanks for the origin of Snoopy’s name
Sorry to hear about you cat
Some 4 years ago I saw a cat by the side of the road. My cat of the same color was missing, so I eventually put 2 + 2 together and set out to burry it. Somehow ran-over cats often manage to drag away to the side of the road
When I went to grab it with a blanket it moved slightly so it was still alive To the vet we went and today it's a healthy cat - indoor only!
Sorry for your loss, Blazer. May God comfort you.
