At the moment I'm still in shock, it happened so suddenly.

To think that I will never again hear her happy way of Meowing.

Rest in peace Snoopy, the world is a poorer place without you.

Sorry to hear about that, Blazer. It's an experience I've had, a few times.

That s the main problem with cats. They always want to cross the road at the wrong time. I had a lot of them, only one died of old age.

People don't really OWN cats, they merely 'herd' them somewhat.

    Sorry man, that stinks...

    Funny story though...

Several years ago, my cat "Motor Joe" (that was his name cause he always purred) was found at the side of the road.... so we bagged him up dug the hole, buried him placed his little grave marker, said our goodbyes and then about 2hrs later, he was knocking at the door waiting for feeding time...

We had buried the wrong cat, they looked identical... both tuxedo cats...

It was a sick joke we had pulled on ourselves...

Here's to hoping a joke has been pulled on you Blazer...

And if not, I'm sure yall had a great time together, and memories are all any of us really have.

My Joe, passed away a few years ago with his paws over his head covering his eyes face down in the garden where he liked to roll in the dirt.... he was a tired old man.

That's tough to lose a pet. I'm an advocate of indoor cats.

So sorry. Consider an indoor cat for your next.

I've found at least 3 of mine over the years roadside, middle of the road, and once in the middle of the front yard (driver left the road). All inside/outside cats. They love to go find their buddies at night and all know each other. This usually involves "crossing the road". Cats love to go out and "hunt" and play. Hate to imprison them and deny them.

Well... Here in Idaho the fish and game had to move an eagles nest that had been there for like 20 years.... They found 30 small animal collars in the nest!
Sorry for your loss, it hurts.

And on the flipside of that, newsworthy, one of those South American countries ending with a guay or something.......women working in the fields witnessed an eagle swoop down and grab a cat by the nape (?) of the neck and soon discovered 'bout 20 feet aloft that he'd grabbed something akin to a 9 lb male siamese. Witnesses said feathers were flying everywhere and he let THAT sob GO! Cat fell to earth unharmed (and probably flat-footed) and meandered off to find his buddies I guess.
