    Changed plans-
the butterscotch Esquire plan is history, it‘ll be a 1952 Esquire „custom“ in faded candy tangerine ;)

yeah. oooooooof. so very, very, very nice. I like the way you think.

For starters, just the words: "Candy Tangerine Esquire".

How did the MIJ neck pocket take the Musikraft neck? Looks amazing so far. I've had my eye on a set of Klein pickups for a while now.

It's really the best color. Orange that is...although I'm a bit biased.

Put a 3-ply black pickguard on it and a Gritty sticker and you're all set!

    That's gonna be a beaut.
Musikraft, MJT Rutters and Glendale. A formula I have used a few times myself.

Love it! I really like the crackle finish too.

I’m biased though. Here’s my MJT metallic tangerine tele with black anodized pickguard. I put a thick baseball bat quartersawn maple Feiten neck on it since this photo. Also swapped out the saddles below for a steel 50’s Road Worn Fender tele saddle set. Got the Seymour Duncan Billy Gibbons “Gilly” Lead Stack pup in the bridge and an uncovered Frailin Blues Special in the neck. A real unique growler of a tele!

    .

I have had a similar orange color build in mind for a while.

Probably started from seeing one of these Reverend models ...

Really tight. I‘ve sanded 0.5 mms outa the neck pocket. Fits like a glove.

Think 50‘s- a black Bakelite guard, oversprayed and round edges.
