    Hi all!

one month ago I’ve taken a bullet tele, not I’m my favourite color, but it was cheap! I’ve modded it a little:

    -ashtray bridge with brass saddles
    - vintage tuners
    - shielded all the cavities
    -pickup from pickupmakers (Italian company)
    -pickguard 5 holes
-full rewiring (with full size pots, 4 way switch, .47 cap and treble bleed)

The body have a dent, and now I’m undecided if re-paint or leave as is, in any case I have to plug the old bridge holes.
If I go for a paint job, it will be sonic blue or daphne blue

the Fender logo on the headstock is just temporary, the headstock was scratched, so I’ve fixed it and put the ‘61 logo (the colour scheme match this year!)

    .

For the ding ... dab some black paint in there, then fill with CA adhesive. Scrape level, sand to high grit, polish.

One could fill the dent with JB Weld. Can be filed. sanded, painted, etc.
    WOOD RESTORE PREMIUM EPOXY PUTTY

That would be my vote especially if you are going to paint it.

I’ve taken a deep look at it: if I leave as is I have to fill (in Italy we call it stucco, I don’t know in English how’s called!)
If I have to repaint there’s no need to do it, the wood is untouched, is just the paint ripped off
