Pretty sure I'm gonna win it.
No, I will!!!
If I'm really lucky this Friday, I'll win both this beautiful guitar AND Eurolotto (the present pot is 90 MEuro, i.e. about $95M).
I'll be quite happy with either of them.
I think she would enjoy a ride in your guitar-boat, Elkhorn!
Or a trip to the land of the cherry-blossoms, or maybe the excitement of suburban Big Apple! Anywhere but my messy cave of a shop!
I was wondering what the hell you were talking about with this guitar-boat business then I noticed his avatar pic…
Just caught up the last three weeks. Such a great guitar. Thank you Rick for sharing this build and your generosity with us. Very inspiring.
Did I win yet?
No but if you'll build me a guitar-boat like Elkhorn's avatar, I'll build you a Sir-Andrew II.!
Thank you for the props, Andre, and to all who have had such nice things to say. Makes me miss Brainy's good-natured (????????) Rick-bashing, for some contrast.
Feeling itchy or what?
I'm in...hoping to win and allow it to go up again for another round of bidding.
Well, I'm not saying how many tickets I've purchased but I did tell my wife that I was winning the guitar and that we would need to start saving to pay it a visit to it in England. We've both got family there so the accommodations are cheap, it's just getting there and back that takes some funding.
Beautiful, noble build, Rick.
You did a good thing here Rick, you really did. And you did it exceptionally well. Thank you for sharing it with us, God bless.
Rick thanks for changing your Avatar. You'll never know how much that poor disfigured girl reminded of my first mother-in-law. Very scary!!!
That was Rick's mother in law...
I think you and BeeTL should buy multiple tickets. You wouldn't want to miss out on your trip to England, would you?
Thanh you, Jackadder. It was in memory of a pretty noble guy.
Thanks, Telemarx. It was therapeutic for me, so I certainly got something out of it as well.
Dave, that poor disfigured girl couldn't be happier, nor her surgeon any prouder of that surgical outcome! Maybe your first MIL could visit the good doctor for a reversal operation, if she was born with a Picasso-face! Still, I'm pleased to have alleviated your nightmare quotient, and plead that I had no intent to terrify the kiddies here!
LOL, Richard, actually I lucked out in the MIL department, God rest her soul. She was a sweet lady, and never caused me any nightmares.
Rick the "Wicked old Witch of the West" looked like that AFTER the surgery!!!!!!
