    Hey everyone,

Well, sort of a NGD for me today!

Since I purchased my CS Nocaster, my 60s Classic was hardly getting any play-time; so I decided a little refurbishment was in order to reignite my passion for it. I sent the body to Angela at guitarangel.co.uk and she's sure worked her magic on this one!

The Oly White poly finish was stripped to bare wood and double binding was added. Then it was refinished in Sonic Blue nitro paint and then tinted to give it a faded, aged look. For the pickup I've gone for a Bare Knuckle Piledriver; this makes it sound like a tele on steroids!

It always was a light guitar but I'm sure it is now even lighter due to losing all that thick poly - finished guitar weighs in at 6.6 pounds. This thing just rings, vibrates and screams!

Maybe my Nocaster will have a little competition now......................

Lookin' real good. Let me know if you need somebody to take either this one or the Nocaster off your hands. Such a burden for one person :)

    Lovely.

I've yet to see a double bound tele I dislike.

You've done a good thing! No beautiful guitar should be hiding under a poly finish.

Oh, and you know what they say.. Esquires have more fun.
