    Hey guys.

As some of you know I got a `55 tele a while back from Emerald City Guitars. It`s a real player; body refin, mix of early `60s and original hardware, rewound pickups, original neck finish and refretted. Anyway, just wanted to write some positive words about Jay Boone@EMCG and Eric Daw, the guy that restored this guitar in the first place.

Short story; there was something that needed repair on the body, so I contacted Jay and he just asked me to ship the body over. I did, and Eric did a really great job of fixing the issue. It was some woodwork in the cutaway. Maybe Eric could chime in if he reads this?

I didn`t pay a cent for this work, and the job was done really quick. So thumbs up to these guys!

I got the body today, and I just finished putting it back together. Did some light fret levelling and make a new nut, so it plays really nice. And it sounds absolutely brilliant. I`ll post a video later tonight.

Great weather today, so I took some pics :p
    Love this guitar!

This is the first time I've ever come to this side of the forum. The first thing I see is this and now I have to wipe some drool off of my chin. I have unaffordable GAS!

Awesome! I played this once when it was ECG, and almost pulled the trigger. Glad to hear it found a new home!

Can there be anything better than a 50's white guard? Wow, I love that guitar more than words can say. It looks and sounds phenomenal. Enjoy!

YES! That is one purdy guitar. The only thing more classy than that white guard...is your touch and your technique and your style. Just lovely.
