I'm posting my 2nd backing track that I came up with today while playing with my looper pedal. I'm interested in how
you guys would approach a lead guitar or anything else over this chord sequence which is:
Am - C - D, Am - C - G, Am - C - D, Am - E - Am. Sequence repeats for just over 2 minutes.
I'm always up for taking advice and getting ideas from you guys too, as you were most helpful with my previous backing
track posting. Thanks in advance, Alan.. 👍

You can use harmonic minor on the E. Sharp the 7th degree of the Am scale to G#

Thanks Mjark, an excellent take, you throw a completely different and melodic light on this.
I used the E major for ease of fitting with my picking rhythm at the time. I did actually
notice that playing a second full E7 chord over the E added something when I was noodling
around with it. I'll look into sharping the Am scale to G#..
As you can probably tell I'm technically quite basic so always grateful for any ideas. 👍
