Apparently we have too much free time….. so, we combined a Capt & Tennille song (possibly the worst song ever written) with a McCartney tune because we figured out they fit together.

Right?AHHHH! I hate this song
Yes! I am calling for investigations into this matter until those responsible are finally held accountable!!Let's be sure to give full and proper credit to Willis Alan Ramsey for writing the turd that is Muskrat Love, and to America for covering it 3 years prior to Captain & Tennille. Don't be letting those other folks off the hook.![]()
I tried for two hours to get that on my Moog Model-D app, I just don’t know how to make it sound that bad! I got close using the 3rd oscillator as an LFO on the filter section… there is simply no “diarrhea“ knob. That's awesome!
I was hoping for the little muskrat chatter, as seen at around 2:11 in the Captain's video, lol.
Maybe if Mick sang Muskrat Love, somehow balance could be restored to the multiverse…My wife says Mick Jagger was so ugly he was cute.
Muskrat Love was so cute it was ugly.
It is too late. They have already ripped the very fabric of time-space continuum.Maybe if Mick sang Muskrat Love, somehow balance could be restored to the multiverse…![]()
Song would've been called "Let 'Em Out" instead.I always liked Let 'Em In, but the lyrics sound like McCartney wrote this while sitting on the toilet, reading the paper and taking a dump.
THAT is awesome, that you tried! I might have just tried a very fizzy fuzz pedal, with a compression pedal, but at least ya tried.I tried for two hours to get that on my Moog Model-D app, I just don’t know how to make it sound that bad! I got close using the 3rd oscillator as an LFO on the filter section… there is simply no “diarrhea“ knob.

I could never understand why, but I loathed the Captain & Tenille version while the Willis Alan Ramsey original sounded like good music to me.Tough crowd. Mr Ramsey wrote this one and it appears on his one and only studio album that is among my all-time favorites for the style. For those that haven't heard it, give the original a listen...
