I recently ordered a Blackguard neck from Musikraft and asked them to change a few specs afterwards to which they replied that they’re unable to edit the order so they just added a note...I've read about Musikraft building necks which aren't always true to the specs listed in the order so I'm getting a little worried...did anybody have a similar experience?

Not sure, mine have been fine but I think I got that note also after I errored in ordering and asked for a correction. It came correct.
Their order page is problematic so be sure to triple check the final order sheet. It seems to revert to previous specs if you are not very careful while editing a spec or looking for info.
Can't remember, is that the page that you cant see your final specs when you push the "order" ?

FWIW, I've bought two custom ordered necks from them, they both turned out to be exactly what I hoped for. I didn't have to change horses in mid-stream, though. Funny they can't "edit" the order.

I've had them build two, no problems, but I triple checked the order summary before clicking 'submit.' The summary is a little hard to read when some of it is lumped into one paragraph of text. I copy it to an editor and separate the line items to make it easier. Great necks.

Their order summary was ok imo, but I agree it’s funny they can’t edit the order (at the moment, supposedly)...

I asked them to change the order shortly after it was placed it so they hadn’t selected the wood yet.

Now that you mention it, I remember it was a bit of awkward navigation, to double-check every detail.

Maybe I should ask them when they'll be able to "edit" the order?

I've had Musikraft build several necks for me. They were always exactly what I ordered, and I like them better than the USA Custom and Warmoth necks I ordered at other times. I never asked them to change specs after placing an order, though.

What spec did you ask them to change?

Trying to remember. I think it was the fretboard edge rolling? I would go with the full roll, the lesser one seemed like most necks come ...still fairly sharp.

I chose heavy rolled edges as well, I've been told they don’t take as much wood off the edges as shown in the pics on their website? I just wanted to make sure the edges aren't too sharp.

I'd be curious to know if the order note is shown at the top or at the bottom of the spec sheet which is passed around in their workshop. If it's at the top of the spec sheet, it's probably unlikely to be overlooked.

They are the best, outside of a one-off hand build.

I love Musikraft necks(they offer more options) and prefer Warmoth bodies. Both excellent quality, can't do wrong by either.

I bought a Strat neck from them, and it was amazing quality.
