    Roswewood boards are back but prices/upcharges haven't come down.

    Rickenbacker has been using chechen for 6 or 7 years now. They call it caribbean rosewood.

    Does this mean Fender will dump the ugly light PF boards from the MIM line. You couldn’t give me a PF board on a Strat or Tele. Haven’t seen one that looked right yet.

    I’ll roll my own using a Musikraft, Allparts or USAG neck before I spend a nickel on a PF equipped instrument.

    Pretty sure Fender used CITES as a good excuse to fatten their bottom line, it’s always about $$$$!
