Music I Heard Today On A TV Commercial.

Not my normal source for music and I rarely watch TV, so don't see many commercials, but the Football/Soccer World Cup is an exception.

It's from an Uber Eats commercial and I searched out the original track.
I love it.
Especially the way the slightly out of tune dry guitars contrasts with the lushness of the strings.

One to definitely learn and sing myself.

Bill Withers was the real deal. A regular working class dude that had a gift for songwriting.

Oh yeah. That song in the OP is in my regular rotation. Bill Withers got into the business much later than most people, but he had a few hits that were great songs.

The weirdest use of music I ever heard on a TV commercial was a Target spot for swimsuits for pre-teen girls. The music was "Genius of Love" by Tom Tom Club.

I saw him in 1971 on his first tour behind his first hit, "Ain't no Sunshine." Excellent and humble.

I gave playing it a try today and realised the song has just the one chord all the way through, which I think is a very clever idea.
