The highwater mark for music?
I agree. The '70s were the best. So much good music. We thought it would keep going forever.
I loved '70s music. Especially '70 through '76.
I wouldn't have used any of those examples (no offense), but agree 100%
The guy who did the guitar and vocals in Looking Glass is still out there playing small clubs. He has some recent videos on youtube. Nice guy.
Loved that warm and chimey guitar riff-o-rama he did in that song.
Best thing about the 70's is that there's thousands of great tunes.
My favorite year of rock music is 1977.
My mother and father were 16 and 13 respectively in that year, and some of the albums they listened to that year were Little Queen by Heart, The Grand Illusion by Styx, Rumours by Fleetwood Mac, Point of Know Return by Kansas and A Farewell to Kings by Rush.
I'm 20 years old, and those records are a HUGE part of my record collection
I AGREE AND YES I AM SHOUTING.
WHAT? WHAT?? SPEAK UP.....
For you Spotifiers, I’ve compiled a 70’s playlist
Never got Frankie Valli - seriously, who sings like that?
I feel that way about the BeeGees.
oh man , that takes me back.....
Don't do this.
Great Stuff! How about Whos That Lady?
It truly was a magical time!
So much great Pop music was in the air.
I’m so glad I was young (13-23) and alive in the 1970s.
If I could, I would.
Listen to Sherry Baby with headphones, loud. What a voice.
And...all the good old southern bands of that time. ARS, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Outlaws, Marshall Tucker, Charlie Daniel's, Mother's Finest, Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, etc. I'm certain there are a lot more.
