Never heard of those fellas.
I’d love to have seen them live back when I was a drinking college kid.
That looks fun.
Now we’re getting somewhere!
Great garage band. I was listening to them in the 90s.
Interesting band to be honest with everyone. I could picture the titles of their albums after watching that.
1. Tut Tut That's Not Pharoh.
2. Egypt me.
3. Straight Outta The Icu.
4. Let's All Play On the Freeway.
5. Who's Your Daddy?
6. Hanging with the Crypt Kicker Five.
7. Under Wraps.
8. That About Covers It.
9. Pyramid Schemes.
Saw these guys again at Gonerfest a couple of years ago. They still bring the rock. I found this clip of one of their best and it made me laugh:
The Mummies are GREAT for three songs.
Then, I never want to see them again.
Last live show I saw, on pandemic shutdown day here, was the Mummies. I went because my friends' band was opening up for them, and most of my friends were gonna be there, so I wanted to hang out. Mummies? Same as always. Loved 'em for three songs, then was done. They are OK, in and of themselves...but their fans suck.
We cover "Stronger Than Dirt."
Russel is a really nice guy.
"Where can I get TAB for that?"
one of my more fun bands does, too
and yeah, the fans are always the worst part of anything, whether it's Mummies, metalheads, Elvis fans, trekkies, whatever
