Multimeter Advice.......

    Who knows, that might be legit. That web site is a Hong Kong based business. They charge $24-29 to ship a .41 kilogram package to the US, the meter weighs .71 kilograms so based on that I would estimate shipping to be maybe forty bucks.

    Then on top of that they charge a fee of 4.5% of the total amount to use Paypal or 5% to pay by credit card. So you are close to about 90 bucks

    Yeah; saw that they had Europe and Asia warehouses and somehow didn't click that the cost of shipping would make up the price difference.

    Guess if I were ordering a hundred of them it might be a good idea....

    I saw an ebay seller from China selling it for $63.49 shipped if you don't mind waiting for a package from Hong Kong. Maybe ten days.

    That is the cheapest I have seen the Mastech MS8229 which is a great meter by the way.

    They are $89.95 + $7.50 shipping on Amazon.com from Kaito electronics who is the US distributor of Mastech. I know for sure that Kaito are legitimate.
