Moving to Hawaii Need info

    Hey everyone moving to Hawaii on PCS orders for the Army. Going to be living on Oahu. Im kinda freeking out about being about to keep up with my building being over there. Anyone live there and can tell me about places to do my guitar shopping or building related businesses. Im thinking this may be a good time to start my KOA build, but i have no idea how expensive blanks are. Though I bet I could prob get schooled into some bad A$$ ukulele building. Any info would be great. I may just have to buy my tools before i go. Im not sure if there is a woodcraft or a sears on the Oahu.

    Congrats! If you can't find reasonable 'small builder' prices for Koa there, nobody can!

    I was there a few weeks ago and thought while I was there I'd pick up some cheap Koa.

    There ain't no cheap Koa!
