Performance - Nicholas Roeg
Prime era jagger with an all star band, Merry Clayton, Randy Newman, electronics by Beaver and Krause. Jack Nitzche, The Last Poets, Buffy Saint Marie. Just brilliant all the way.

…and I’d we’re talking ‘jukebox’ soundtracks rather than original scores, Baby Driver is a great example of integrating music and action. Especially the Harlem Shuffle scene.

It's a little different but the soundtrack in Ingmar Bergman's "Cries and Whispers" is a collection of great classical works like Bach's Cello Suite in C minor and Chopin's Mazurka in A minor.

One from the Heart.
Soundtrack is Crystal Gayle and Tom Waits. This is how I found that she could sing Blues. "Picking up after you" is pure Genius.starts @7:30.

I love the gorgeous damaged fuzzed-out soundtrack to Jim Jarmusch's "Only Lovers Left Alive." Most of the music is by Jarmusch's band Sqürl.
