Nice bikes everyone. Here's my baby, a 2001 Suzuki Intruder 800.

This thread makes me think I should take a picture of the non-running bike held hostage in my garage...a 1977 Honda CB750A "Hondamatic." It ran when I bought it from a friend back in--this is embarrassing--2011. Before I got around to licensing it, it had an electrical failure of some kind and I just parked it. Too many other things going on, and I have yet to dig into it and figure it out...like, seven years later.

In my moto-fanatic teens and twenties, I'd have been horrified to learn what a wuss I'd become at 49. I'd try to shout to my future self: "FIX that thing, you worthless ..."

I like that thing and will get it running one of these days...not a popular model, but a stout, well-engineered variation on a successful design, late in its "arc of existence" with all the bugs pretty much worked out.

My old '73 GT. Too bad she's no longer with me. She was a locomotive.

My trusty ole TR6. Took this bike everywhere. Raced her in tight canyons and could beat sportbikes (well, that's more the rider....<pats his back>)She was a workhorse. Crashed her a few times too. The one bike I wish I never sold.

My two Commandos I still have. Covered and sleeping in the garage going on 11 years now. The yellow one is a street rod I built ground up, gotta find a better pic of her. The black one is a Dunstall. If anyone wants a Norton, I would probably part with one of them. DSCN2783.JPG

Here's a non-sequitur going thru my bike photos....my arm after a mountain bike wipe out. Hiked Mt. Whitney the next day. My shoulder was a mess.

Mountain bike meaning bicycle, the other two-wheeled enjoyment. So, no leathers, just pitched basically naked into boulders on a downhill trail. A get chills thinking about it. I did have my cycling helmet on though.

My Triumph in the above pic, before I painted the tank red . And, I have officially broken my golden rule of never posting pictures of myself on the web. But it's Friday night and I've had beers....and got inspired by all these cool rides.

Awesome! Congratulations. That's an awesome bike. I think it can do pretty much anything, including distance riding in reasonable comfort. Well done!

I used to have the seemingly-unconnected hobbies of antique American motorcycles and modern observed trials.
I'd still ride trials if my legs worked better.

I love standards, and I love air cooled ducatis. I think that's a great choice.
