and bought a new Indian Chief Classic today (the 'cheap' model). The bad news, is that I won't pick it up and ride it home until early Friday afternoon.

I didn't think I'd ever buy a motorcycle this expensive, but after my fourth and latest 'test ride' in three years on a Chief today, I decided that the bike was worth the expense and bit...hook, line, and sinker.

It's going to be an interesting summer.

This is the model and color that I will be bringing home on Friday...

Love the look of the Chief. I occasionally stop by the Indian dealer on the way home from work to gawk. Enjoy your summer!

Nice, one of my buddies bought a red Chieftain earlier this year, he loves it. I haven't ridden it, but the ergonomics felt pretty good to me. Good to see Indian in the hands of a solid company.

Spectacular. I'd have trouble riding it because I'd want to just sit and look at it all day!

Maybe one of the best motorcycle designs ever. Congrats. It was good to see the brand finally take hold after all those failed attempts. I love their looks. Nothing to change or add to make them better looking.

That's nice, but with those fenders they always look heavy to me. I suspect that it doesn't actually affect the handling.

Awww :( Photobucket is blocked at work. Good on ya though. With a passenger who only wants to be a passenger, I'm starting my look at a more appropriate bike for two up. With the way I like to ride though, I'm looking at one of these:
