I watch the kitten videos and can feel compassion and open heartedness,
I notice the difference when I see a street scene of people , people in line just people in general.
My compassion is not as close to the surface, not nearly as readily available for people , why is this . Would I benefit for becoming more caring compassionate and open hearted towards other people?

You want to go and lick people?
10 hours ... really. Did you watch the whole lot?
I watched the first 2 minutes ... I think I got it .... Mumma cat doing lots of licking.
Any footage of Mumma catching a bird or tormenting a mouse until it has a heart attack? This is another part of a cats nature.

If people were as cute as kittens it’d all be a lot easier

I watched 30 seconds and barfed a hairball. Puppies playing? , yea I coulda watched, but wicked creatures that dominate their owner masters and steal their soul? Nah.

Humans are not "owner masters" ..... rather "servants".

Cats are honest. They won't shine you on & then screw you over. At least with cats you know what you're getting, and their contempt for our species is to be expected.

I've seen my cat bouncing a mouse off the wall like tennis ball wham -broing wham -broing wham -broing wham -broing really hard, kitty was having a good time tormenting the mouse, yes, cats some time seem to take pleasure from playing with their food, catching it letting it go, and repeating the torment.
I'm not talking about cats I'm referring to cultivating compassion and kindness for other people
Are you winding me up by being being obtuse with intentionality.
The Dalai Lama was asked about his practice and he said "my religion is kindness."

Animals and little kids always show us what we yearn to be or are , deep in our souls. Return to simplicity of just living with each other without acquired brain traffic during our years. Too much coffee this am. Lol

Cats are awesome. They are loving, but not so needy, like dogs. I have one in my lap at some point every day. They also know when their human is ill, and take care of us in their own way. I think we all could be more compassionate. I applaud anyone who endeavors to become more concerned about their fellow man (person).

I used to get richter scale migraine headaches and Flora the cat would come in and sit with me , I was going to the emergecy room as my head had claymore mines exploding inside my head, my skin was light sensitive, lsd like horror perspective, end of the word emotions and she tried to go to the e.r. with me. my partner had to take her back into the house.
