Epi Masterbilt Zenith Classic 2.jpg Epi Masterbilt Zenith Classic 6.jpg 20181110_181745.jpg Archtops that I owned, played, and loved include a Guild X-500 (boy, was it heavy), Gibson ES-175, and an Epiphone Zephyr Regent (sold it, sob sob). Recently I purchased an Epiphone Zenith Masterbuilt just as a 'knock around' guitar; pretty impressive build quality for the price point and acoustically it's balanced and can really 'push some air'.

Incidentally, many folks on this thread have mentioned Godin. I totally agree. Godin makes some wonderful instruments. (yet, another sob story). Cheers!

Godin makes really nice inexpensive guitars

I was 10 years old in this pic. This is my 1st guitar. It was one of my Dads guitars.
A 1953 Gibson L48. I still have the guitar and it's in excellent condition
