I love the smiths, but all I can picture this fight being is you trying to thrash a reverend with a bunch of flowers...

I heard a guy call the band STINKS. I got a kick out of that, but yeah they didn't do much for me.

Recovering classic rock programmer and air personality...plenty of bands that I couldn’t avoid even when I wanted to.

The Doors and The Grateful Dead always had me leaving the studio for a cup of coffee or a bathroom break.

wasn’t always a particular artist, sometimes it was just a particular song. “Freebird”, “Faithfully”, and “James Dean” were always easy to kill the volume and find other projects in the air studio.

stations too tired and unoriginal to avoid cliches like “two-fer Tuesday” and “triple-shot-Thursday” tell me right up front that it’s okay to tune out for at least ten minutes, maybe even fifteen.

Pretty much every "haircut band" from the 80's & 90's.

This tread just confirms that some people have no taste in music. I just did not realize until now that there were this many on TDPRI

I really had no intention of angering anyone. I've decided lately that music is so personal and subjective, to think someone has bad taste is kind of silly. I see some of my favorites listed here, and it's cool. Not everyone's into what I am.

I would argue Radiohead is underrated. I know right, how is that possible?

Great band, but no better than many others of that era.... Stiff Little Fingers were a better band.
